Before
creation was silence.
The silence gave forth creation
And out of creation was born the sound
And the
sound moved in the heavens,
Swelled in
the seas,
Rose in the trees and
Flowed in
the rivers.
And the
sound shrilled through nature.
But man took
the sound
And uttering
his heart he
Breathed the
poem
And gave
Life to the
word.
Man became
the word
And the word
became the poem
And man
listened in silence.
